My Computer Mechanic, Inc. was created in January, 2000 to give you what you have been asking for to help you with your computer needs. When your car is not performing at peak performance you immediately think about taking your car to “My Mechanic.” Now you have someone you can turn to when the computer in your home or small business.

Headquartered in Castle Rock, Colorado we serve the Douglas, Elbert, and southern Arapahoe County areas with personalized and professional computer support services. We specialize in helping the family, home office and small business with computer questions and problems. We can come to you, or you can bring your problem to us.

My Computer Mechanic’s Chief Wrench, Jere Terrill, has been in and around computers for over 30 years. Jere explains, “I was working on computers before the concept of Personal Computers came into being. With a reputation among his friends as helping them with their computer problems, one day he was asked to help a friend in exchange for dinner. At this meeting he was explaining the problem to his friend when his friend remarked, “You can really make me understand what is going on, the pimpled-face kid at CompUSA just made me feel stupid for even asking him a question.” The light bulb went off, and the concept of My Computer Mechanic was born.

Jere’s father worked on televisions and radios as a sideline to his job with the airlines. As Jere watched him work, his Dad instilled in his son that repairing equipment was an art and to look at the whole machine and not just the parts. And most importantly, he taught Jere to give the customers back their televisions and radios in better condition than when they were brought to him for repair.

In Jere’s role as Chief Wrench, CEO, President and Bottle Washer at My Computer Mechanic, he has instilled in all of his employees this same “Old World” philosophy of customer service to our customers in the “Modern World of High Technology.”
